Oooook, so how about...:

-Create a new IP with a strong heroine? Seriously, good female game protagonists are still scarce, I'm looking forward to it...
-Stop using the 'Tomb Raider' brand, name the new games "Lara Croft: Seeker of Truth" or something.

The franchise is called Tomb Raider. What these people want to make are 'Lara Croft & Friends' games, with a protagonist that they don't even want to have anything to do with Lara Croft, so there's no reason not to create a brand new character other than shameless capitalizing on the high popularity of a very iconic existing one created by someone else.

How can the owner of the IP let bigot cultists do this to their character's image? When are they going to get the game out of the hands of these Crystal Dynamics freaks? They've already ruined this version of the game by putting up that disclaimer which is a slap in the face to the original developers and all the fans of the series (and the cowardly submissives at Aspyr and the modders who worked on the game, including famous guys like Xproger, are all complicit in this low and immoral move, let's not forget that).

I wouldn't be overly concerned about the impact this nonsense has on the next game. Already its being laughed at all over the www. CD will be aware of the feedback and pull back on their plans to have a new purple haired, knee-taking, environmentally conscious, self loathing, non-binary Lara Croft at the helm
