DISOUNT KAYAK IN tr 3 (OF i-iii REMASTERED)

dismounting kayak...
Ive been sturggling with this for 1/2 hour; close to giving up
TR 3 (from Remastered)
Madubu Gorge level
You have to disomount kayak to proceed
I KNOW you have to be where waters calm...at the very bottom of gorge, the ONLY calm spot
online Ive seen 3 COMPELTELY DIFFERENT directions for dismounting kayak...is one or any of the 3 correct (as to why folks instructions they know are incorrect remains a mystery to me?)

Roll + right or left ARROW (my default roll key is 'c')
Jump + right or left ARROW (my default jump key is 'spacebar')
end+ right or left ARROW (my default end key is, of course, 'end')

people are posting (at least) 2 wrong instructions
which instruction confirmed works?

Also any hints on USING said instructions...because even when in calm water ,even when near a place to dismount, as soon as I press 'c' or 'space' or 'end' the kayak just starts to move away from the location?

Roll+direction, as I recall. Something to keep in mind is that Lara's proximity to a dock, wall or ledge can affect her ability to get out of the kayak. Basically she either needs to be close enough to leap onto a ledge from the kayak, or far enough away that she can jump into the water between the ledge and kayak. (This will be very important in the Arctic levels). Also, she egresses to the right side of the kayak.

shadowgravy; correct; thank you; did it; roll ('c') + direction; ALSO...important for those who struggle as well...one need not get off on the platform; its easier to dismount INTO the calm water, and then climb out...for the reason you allude to of being too close to the edge.

and...just a polite request...if anyone reading this has posted instructions to press jump key+ direction, or end key + direction, it would be nice to remove those instructions; thank you shadowgravy, Im really enjoying the game and I didn't want to quit on it-thanx to you, I can proceed :-)
