Lara pinup poster gone / censored ?

I waited long after the trailer to see if the game will be butchered by crystal dynamics prudes and decide if i will get the game or not
First it was the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ trigger warning
Then the nude pinup on the jacket easter egg that got censored but for that one i guess its because the rating system changed compared to the initial game release and Aspyr didn't bothered keeping it its unfortunate but that's ESRB for ya
Now there are talks and screenshots showing Lara pinup posters that are on her locker being gone after the update on console
is it also the case for the pc version ? should i expect more updates than censor things ?

Those pictures were still there last time I played the level 1 week ago.
(Isn't it sleeping with the fishes?). Kinda funny she keeps all those pics on her locker but not much more appart from that.

The trigger warning isn't censoring anything and absent from PC anyway. (if you mean the racial thing)

The naked Lady on the jacket is Barely noticeable to begin with. I really had an eye as a teen for these "things" and before Internet never was aware of this.

But anyway, Lara looks hot as hell in remastered form, imagine what "prudes" could have done to that...

I think this "issue" is really blown out of proportion.

Yeah they're gone. Not sure if it was after the update today but they are gone. Man look, I'd be annoyed if they'd done it before release but I'd get over it. To go back after the release of the game and censor stuff is just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ scummy man.

We have to wait for new Based Mods mods to fix that censor. Aspyr should stop that woke BS. Or else people won`t trust them anymore and classic Lara dies again. But maybe that is the plan all along. Sexy strong likable women are not welcome in current age of "What is a woman" and "Men menstruate, too".

pretty sure its Crystal Dynamics fault on this, sucks that i bought it and mods will help but cant always be the solution

My guess is the posters were accidentally removed by update. If they were removed intentionally, I'm curious to why.

BTW there is a mod that adds them back in.

Modern gaming, they will trick you into buying games because of a nostalgia trip and afterwards butcher that game. Simply because certain individuals might get triggered by the content while it was fine in the old days.

This is why i will never bother buying this game. Might as well keep with the classics without censorship.

Agreed! I was probably going to buy this sometime and Crystal Dynamics just lost a customer. If they didn't want it in there then they should've removed it before putting it on sale. I would've been fine with that. They are incompetent for releasing something they can't stand behind and are untrustworthy for censoring it after release. I have all the Tomb Raider games on Steam except this collection. I'm not going to ever buy another one though.

Asypr promised a Linux update to Borderlands 2 on Steam and they lied. A year later they sheepishly admit they lied deep in the support section of their website. They are probably at risk of being closed by Embracer and they are angering their customers and potential customers. I went to Asypr and Crystal Dynamics' Steam developer page and set them on ignore.

Square Enix, Asypr, Crystal Dynamics, and Xseed like to censor their games after putting them on sale. They are censoring small stuff after release now but give them an inch and they'll take a mile. The new Tomb Raider sounds like it'll be bad anyway. They have an established IP that they are ashamed of and will probably destroy.

Mods still mean they get to have your money. This sort of post-release changing content is an easy refund. Even past 2 hours, you will get auto-denied the first time, but contesting it will go to an actual person.
