TR2 Bug in Venice

On the level of Venice, in the final part. I have to get to the door quickly, but to get there on time I have to climb a ramp and cross a bridge. I've tried every way and that ramp can't be climbed, it stays in the middle of the boat. I hope you will inform you

line yourself up with the wall coming out of the hut with the switch and just hold forward and no other directions so that lara goes straight up the ramp

It doesn't work for me, the boat doesn't accelerate enough and I have pressed all the buttons. i use moderns controls and xbox one controller

Hold X (PSX) or A (Xbox)
The speed will be boosted!

Modern controls maybe it is secondary (RT) or action (Y). Try it.

I think that is a bug with Modern Controls, I can't boost the boat using action button on Modern controls but I can using Tank controls. I had to switch from modern to tank to finish Venice level

Had the same problem, ended up switching to tank controls to finish the level, but it kept bothering me so i finally figured it out.

So for anyone else looking for this in the future:

In modern controls, you need to use the sprint button to accelerate the boat. However, notice that you cannot change the sprint keybinding in TR2. If you, like me, changed the keybinds around and ended up with sprint not bound in TR2, you actually need to exit the level, go to TR3 menu, and change the sprint button there, then go back to TR2.

you can just park your boat outside press the switch and dive under the door and dont go over the ramp bam no timer and the door stays open forever
Thats how i always did it because i didn`t know the door was on a timer and then i figured the door trick out

Weird. I pressed the sprint button but nothing happened. And it's bound to C. Can't even change it.

like i said just dive under the door where you open the door then you dont start the timer

yea it`s pretty usefull so most of the time that switch is my first stop in the map
