second thing is you can simply cap it in for that specific game in nvidia control panel or amd equivalent or a third party app like rtss
you're getting severe diminishing returns after 144 fps
Actually there might be, mangohud has some options in it, maybe there is one to cap the fps.
VERY limited GPU options on Linux, there are no control panels and such for AMD(7900XTX in my case, since AMD works better in Linux in my experience). But mangohud did the trick using the go overlay control panel for mangohud it has a performance tab that can do all kinds of handy things.
