no controller support?

hi, i have plugged in my controller to my pc, and steam has detected it, but it wont work in game.. does the game not have controller support? can you only play with keyboard?

there is nothing in settings to choose controller or not, its just tank controls or modern, keybindings, vibration etc.. nothing about controller

Controller definetly work because im using one. Maybe check some steam controller settings for game. Sometimes controller doesnt work for game if i have steam input checked.

I could get a x-box controller to work, but not an original PS1 controller. I don't like the joysticks on the xbox controller. I had to use joyToKey for the PS1 controller.

it says that it supports ps3 and ps4 controllers too, and steam detects them too, but in game no go...

My Xbox series controller does not work on this game. I use it every day on other games without problems. Here it is not recognized and no adjustment is possible.

I found the source of the problem after long hours of investigation... I have a Razer Tartarus which is a keyboard, but it is also considered an Xbox 360 controller in the device manager. All I had to do was deactivate it and now everything works! So if your controller doesn't work on this game, check that you don't have another device that would be considered a controller because obviously this game doesn't like that....

My Xbox Series X works via Bluetooth and my PS5 controller works via USB.

enable steam input, I've seen others say while it says it supports those natively it doesn't.

I did something and my DS4 won't register with Steam as one anymore it registers as an Xbox controller, so I can't test it myself. But it makes things mostly easier now. Just wish I could have my purple light back... [and dimmed].

Always turn off steam input.

Also try DS4windows.

Your USB ports might not have enough power, after installing my new graphic card I had to get a AC Adaptar powered USB hub to use my wired xbox controller, definitely need a 650W Power Supply

its a usb 3.0 has lots of power, but i found a wokr around with a program so now it works well and steam even recognize my controllers.
