Tomb Raider 1 Secret 2/3 Level 1

I can't for the life of me grab the ledge and get up to get the 2nd secret on level 1. I feel its a me skill issue but wondered if anyone else cant get up??

Make sure you're all the way to left corner and hold action and up and she'll get up.

I've tried and just just does not seem to grab on her hand go above the ledge and then nothing hahaha. It has got to be me :/

You are keeping the action button held once she starts jumping? Also are you on tank controls or modern?

i suspect you are pressing the jump button to get up to the ledge which will not work, even if you are all the way to the left (also was this way in the original). as Anakin mentioned, you have to specifically be in that left corner, hold action, and press up and then Lara will grab the ledge. no pressing jump at all for this particular secret.

Stand on the left side, right in the corner. Use the action button, instead of jumping.
Tank controls work much better.

I ended up having to use tank controls to get up there. For some reason she jumps a bit higher

Don't use the modern controles. Use the tank controls. With tthat you go all the way to the left and press the action button. It should be STRG on PC, X on PS controller, A on the Xbox and B on the switch.

I tried with the modern controls but didn't manage to do that. So tank it is.

Thank you all for the help it turns out holding action and forward makes it up straight away hahaha. I've been jumping in the corner for 45mins but the secret is now obtained! one small medkit for me!

Modern controls has absolutely no disavantage. It works perfectely and you can do anything with it, besides sidestepping.

I was having the same problem...kept trying to jump and grab, and it wasn't working, even though the jump distance aligned perfectly. The action + up is what worked.

I feel so dumb.

lol! true. If you abuse it to get the medipack you get an achievement. I did the corner bug using modern controls as well. You really can do anything with if. I don't knwo what is peoples problem with it.
