same here, no optical drive, have the orignal tomb raider on disc for pc, have all the tomb raiders on steam, this is just to add to my collection and to enjoy the game with updated graphics.
Overall I'm not disappointed. It's going to be fun discovering how Aspyr updated each level.

Other than that, nothing much.
I bought it mostly because it works out of the box on Windows 11, while the originals have some issues (well, mostly 2 and 3. 1 works fine, but it is a Dos game and has those crappy looking colors).
Modern controls are pretty badly executed though.
