TR3- Incredibly hard boiled and Crash site level
At the end of the level, if you use the gun only to release the exit of the level but not to kill the velociraptors'waves, does it negate the run for this only pistols achievement? Do you have to use glitches to exit the level instead?

No, there's no need to use glitches. I got TR3 Hard Boiled by firing the cannon only at the wall while making sure it didn't accidentally hit any raptor or soldier. I don't know if hitting them would void the achievement but hitting just the wall definitely doesn't.

People have gotten the achievement even after using the cannon on the raptors, unless one of the patches changed that. The harpoon-shooting UPV should also be safe to use. Only the black snowmobile in TR2 is confirmed to not be allowed (the guns specifically, running over people is ok).

Pretty sure shooting the UPV also voids the achievement as well as the Snowmobile guns.

Shooting the wall with the canon is safe, unsure about shooting the raptors with it though.
Pretty sure I shot the wall and then just legged it to the finish to avoid dealing with the swarm.

I have all 3 pistols only achievements.

Multiple players have used the cannon and the UPV on enemies and gotten the pistols only achievement anyway. Only the snowmobile guns are confirmed to void TR2's achievement.

Edit: I just now personally got the TR3 pistol achievement, and I used the UPV on everything underwater.
