Nexus mod users explain how to install their mods on the page in the description. Use some common sense dude.
Some mods are for one game, some mods are for multiple or all games, so make sure you put it in the proper game folder. Tomb Raider 1 mods go in the folder marked 1, and so on... obvious stuff.
Some other modifications will also change the model in game. Those will be files labelled as .TRM and go in the ITEM folder.
Most sound related files will go in TRACKS folder.
If you have any issues, all you have to do is ask. The more specific you are the easier it will be to advise.
Trust me, some of the mods ended up being a bit disappointing and I ended up going back to default or choosing another alternative.
I'd actually love to work on some of my own ideas...
One of the first mods I downloaded was a mod that improved the animal skins in TR 1.
It was actually quite surprising to find that most TRLE act as stand-alone games and are not files you place alongside the base game.
Thank you so much, I was fighting the mods for hours before finding this comment. Now they work like a dream :)
