** Bug Report ** Has TR3 Area 51, Nevada Ammo missing Been fixed?
Title says it, I want to know if they fixed the part where being captured removes all of your found goodies and secrets.


** I would still ask those that can try to contact a developer to address this 20 year old flaw in TR3 and put it to bed. I have left my own message on the tomb raider remastered group following a rabbit hole from the community moderator profile here. **

You get all your supplies back now, though it's still initially taken.

Never a bug really, but an annoying design decision.

Apparently Newgame+ does not give your stuff back.

Here is what happens. You get, depending on when you play Nevada, an arbitrary set of ammo and medkits back. You do NOT get your weapons back nor the exact ammo and supplies you had before.

However, even if you play Nevada last, ALL weapons can be obtained again before the final boss. Weapons previously lost forever now have new spawn locations in the levels.

That is exactly how it was back in the day and I don't believe it was a design decision as much as it was a screw up since the team who worked on TR3 was the CoreDesign B-team. Especially since it could mean you would lose a tremendous amount of ammo from playing all the other locations before Nevada. As well as the fact you pick up goodies in the first chapter which would mean none of them mattered to begin with.


Hoping some one could contact a dev or poke some one in the know to see about fixing this, it's a very damning piece of TR3's history that was never corrected.

yeah, it's annoying. I did Nevada last in my remaster playthrough, fully expecting to now at least keep ammo and medpacks like offshore rig does, but nope.

I actually went ahead and checked my saves just before HSC with all my gear intact and a save after I got everything back, minus everything I picked up in the level itself:

I got only half of my rockets and nades back, about half of my medkits, none of my shotgun shells, less uzi and mp5, half of my flares and a net gain of +5 harpoons (lol).

this is already taking into account the amount of ammo you get per ammo pack (nades 2, uzi clips worth 50 bullets etc) so the actual totals.
