What's your favorite Tomb Raider level ?
And Why ?

I love Temple of Xian in TR2.
A gigantic deathtrap with an eerie vibe.

For me, it's Palace Midas from TR1. It's got a nice open-ended design, interesting decor, a devious secret, and a very interesting theme.

Temple of Xian has my vote too. Barkhang Monastery, The Great Wall and Floating Islands are also up there. If that wasn't obvious, TR2 is my favorite hands down...

Lost Valley. No question.
I got TR1 way back as OEM together with a 3DFX card. Back then I was more into Racing simulators like Grand Prix Legends. So I did not know anything about the game. I just tried it to see what my new grafics card can do - so I walked into that level completely unprepared and faced a f... T-Rex!!! I guess it does not get better than that...

There's something really nice about being able to enter Croft Manor and for that reason I'd say either the one from TR2 (love the treasure room!) or "Blood Ties" (the DLC from Rise of the Tomb Raider). The bigger the better and more if they include some secrets!

Otherwise... Midas Palace. The puzzles might not be the best, but the whole place has it's charm and there's no deny in that the hand of Midas is super memorable. Turning Lara into gold the first time around, without expecting it, it's amazing lol.

"Lost Valley" in Tomb Raider I, because it has dinosaurs.

"The Great Wall" in Tomb Raider II, because it has dinosaurs.

"Crash site" in Tomb Raider III, because it has dinosaurs.

I love dinosaurs.

I just finished that one, and, you have to be a bit masochistic to love that level. 😉 Those kayak controls...

For me: The Cistern in TR1, and all of the Maria Dora levels in TR2. And, there are some absolutely great levels in TR3 too, like the Coastal Village.

Core Design really were masters in terms of level design.

"Alexandria" from TRtLR it's like a hub with a broken down amusement park, plenty of tombs to go as options but the flavor is when your done with the train level it goes straight into the action. Also there's Jean Yves and ummm I wish he's in or Charles Kane though I am not joking Alexandria is my number 1 level in the entire series.
