skip level cheat and achievements !

hey i know using cheats will disable the achievements but i was wondering if using skip level cheat to reach a specific level to get the achievements im missing , save and exist the game than load that save , will the achievements work again ?!

i tried that for several TR1 achievements. for some it worked (Dances With Wolves), for some it didn't (Kon-Tiqsi-Wiraqucha). also some achievements don't trigger at all in NG+ (Au Revoir! / Shell Sucker!). just to name a few examples.

my advice: create a save at the beginning of each level, then use a different save slot for progression. i'm doing that for TR3 right now, so i can revisit any level later, without having to replay huge portions of the game.

yeah some achivmenst didnt unloack for me even without the cheat
maybe some are bugged !!

regarding TR1 and TR:UB, all achievements are obtainable except "get all pickups". in TR1 one item is unreachable, while in TR:UB the achievement simply doesn't trigger.

as a rule of thumb: do them on normal mode. no level skip. no weapon cheat. some might trigger anyway, but most won't.

For the one unreachable you have to use the corner glitch(bug) to get it. (IF it is the one in Midas Temple. Its also an achievement now)
