What is the "wrong" "Pistol only" Trophy in TR 2?

The trophies are messed up in TR 2 and i want to make share that my run counts. Thanks for the answers

All Pistols only achievements have the same icon: an image of two pistols. If you see that image you unlocked the achievement, no matter what the name/description of the achievement says.

Change Steam to English, or copy-paste your profile's achievement list on your web browser and change it to English if you want to see the correct names/descriptions.

I think it means her default pistols only. I just completed the TR1 version of the challenge.

Thanks, i looked it up and it seems I messed up something. Does it realy count if you shoot with the snow mobile guns? I did not kill any enemies at that moment but it seems that this was my fault :/

I just finished TR3 with "pistols only", but the trophy didn't pop up :(
I ALWAYS use pistols, but I hope the guard that i killed with a red laser when I was in prison didn't count :( :(

You must have used the UPV harpoons or another weapon by accident. All the pistols only achievements worked just fine for me.

Just don't ride the Black snowmobile at all, play that level as if you're beating that level without using snowmobile

For me the pistols only challenge is not in TR2. Only in TR: GM
Beating TR2 with pistols only didn't proc the achievement.

did that, still didn't get the TR2 achievement.

even just started a new game, used level skip to get all the way to the end, no achievement. after all the testing i've done i'm 99% sure TR2 is bugged, no achievement issues with TR1/3.

Using Level Skip cheat would void the achievement, you need to play it on New Game
and beat the level normally, use no Black Snowmobile during Tibetan Foothills, pistol all the way (with no accidental weapon hotkey swap) until beat Dragon's Lair. That's when the achievement would pop up, I already got mine weeks ago and was on the vanilla release with no 'fan-modded-epic-patch'. All TR2 achievements weren't bugged (at least on Steam), including Golden Mask as well as I already got all of them.

Nope :( I think that my only mistake was in High Security Compound, when I killed a guard with the red laser beam in order to open the door :(

Does anyone know how much ammo i should have, with all pickups and only using pistols in TR2?

Pistols only achievements require that you cannot kill or damage enemies with anything other than Lara's default pistols.

This is easy enough in TR1 but in 2 and 3 you have to avoid killing or damaging enemies with vehicles.
You may also have to be careful in TR3 as well as it's possible to kill enemies with doors in that game.. and you also cannot use the mounted gun to kill any Raptors in the plane crash level.

These achievements overall are not too difficult tbh.
