Steam Deck - Unable to access main menu after launch

Hello!

I've recently received my OLED version of the Steam Deck, and I'm unable to launch the game properly; I can hear the menu music playing in the background, but the screen and inputs are stuck in the Steam loading screen, prompting me to use either the Steam or Back button.

I've tried verifying, reinstalling, re-verifying and different Proton versions beside the recommended 8.0-5 up to 9.0 beta, without any luck. Searching around as well don't seem to be yielding anything that could help.

Have there been any other people with an issue like this with the game? Works on my PC fine :)

Huh works fine on my deck OLED.

Is your deck fully updated?

works fine on my non OLED, so I'm not sure what the issue could be.

I was prompted to install the latest firmware during the first device setup, and manually checking updates don't seem to yield anything new so far.

I don't think I do, since the Deck itself is fresh straight from the box.

So far only this game seems to have the issue, no other game has had issue like this from what I've managed to play on the OLED Deck so far. Hard to give any further info on this, since any attempts previously mentioned to fix it haven't done any difference :(
