TR3 India levels look awful!

Just finished the India levels and was pretty disappointed with how the textures looked. I'm not sure if AI generated them, but they seem like actual images of rocks and plants, and they just don't blend well. I actually preferred the original look. I hope the rest of the T3 levels don't look as bad.

You may want to wait until they patch the game. We're playing an unfinished version. Epic got the improved version for some reason and now we're waiting to be brought up to speed.

This doesn't mean that the issues that you're having will be addressed, but from the files that have been updated it looks like almost every level is getting an improvement of some kind or another.

One thing I noticed is I think the preview trailer showed content that was more finished than the releases version…. Like rivers were properly animated and foliage looked better…

It really seems like they needed to postpone the release for somewhere between two weeks to a month. Guess they had to get it out on the 14th come Hell or high water.

Damn. I wish I had waited a couple of months, but I was so hyped and couldn't wait a day ^^ I hope they redo the textures on the India levels as well. If not the devs, then maybe the modders

Only thing I noticed was preview lighting looked inferior to original whereas even broken version lighting is still hit and miss but still looked a little better in places than trailer. Particularly the Sphinx scene where they show off the version image switch button in the trailer. It was too bright in trailer.
