Planet of the Raids Achievement

So what's the trick behind this? I swear I kill every single monkey before they even THINK about touching the items on the floor, and yet I don't seem to get this achievement. Any ideas?

i did this achievement the other day and had no problems at all.

the MOST IMPORTANT thing is to stay away from this particular shotgun ammo at 2:15

getting near it will trigger one monkey in the central area to grab a medipack

maybe you're just missing a monkey? there's one at the secret area, where the red car goes downhill. the achievement will unlock once you kill the last monkey.

Did all that and no dice.

EDIT: I just tried again by killing the monkeys and not touching the items myself and it worked. Very epic.

So you have to kill ALL monkeys?

right now im stuck at this achievement.
i just completed the level by jumping straight down on the shore but the achievement does not trigger.

So that means that the description is wrong?
it should be like "kill Every Monkey in the madhouse without letting them touch any item"?

yes, gotta kill all monkeys. the achievement pops on the last kill, not on level-transition.

well, grats, but i'm pretty sure it's fine to pickup the items by yourself :D
