and it aint CD ;)

source pls, and don't give youtube videos where someone states it's CD, I want the actual source. because everyone is just mimicing each other, saying it's CD without me seeing any evidence. again the publisher of this game is espyr ;) not CD.
What's the actual problem?
Who owns the IP ? Is it Crystal Dynamics ?
Is Aspyr some kind of subcontracted developer ?
embracer group, outsourced the remasters to a studio of them called espyr. therefor on the page you can see , developers espyr and CD. CD probably had to give up the source code and files. and espyr developed the remaster. but espyr is also the publisher it states on the page, not CD.
Get a grip.
So you're in support of whatever you're complaining about, ok.
