Why didn't they give Lara proper clothing this time?

The original games were a product of their time, sure but with this remaster, they missed an opportunity to correct a serious error: give Lara proper clothing that doesn't appeal to the male gaze.

They went through the trouble of redesigning her model and still kept the outrageous tank top and short shorts? Also her breasts are still massive, it's sickening. They could've easily reduced it but no. It's extremely demeaning to women that they decided to keep these outdated "features".

A remaster is supposed to bring an old game to modern standards and that should extend beyond just graphics and gameplay. I'm very disappointed in Aspyr and Crystal Dynamics

Women with big breasts exist, and if you go outside in a summer day you'll find tons of people wearing shorts and showing as much skin as some of this Lara's costumes and even more. So no, it happens in real life, there's nothing to hide or change.
