Other Trilogy Remasters?

If this pack of games is successful do you think we'll get more remastered collections for the other Tomb Raider games? I'm talking about classic Lara games, underworld, etc.

This question pops up a lot!

I'd love to see a double pack remaster of Last Revelation and Chronicles. While I'd buy a 'remaster' of Angel of Darkness, it desperately needs a REMAKE. I think there are decent odds of Last Revelation & Chronicles getting this treatment... I feel anything involving AoD is really slim unless this and others sell really well.

I think the strongest chance is of the first reboot trilogy (LAU) getting a remaster. Games are old enough and fairly well regarded. I wouldn't be surprised if we see them jump to LAU, skipping TLR & Chronicles.

Again though, all depends on how well this does and whether they consider other titles viable for profit.

I'm gonna be honest, I'd like Embracer to get Crystal Dynamics to do the same thing with the "Legacy of Kain" series and just leave the Tomb Raider series to Aspyr from here on out.

This. As far as I'm concerned CD ran TR into the mud with their newer games. I don't trust them with the franchise anymore and I have no interest in their timeline 'unification' or any other future games under their development. Classic TR ends for me at AoD and the handheld spin-off games. The first reboot trilogy was ok, but still a separate thing featuring a separate and alternate Lara Croft.

If this sells well... which, we don't know what "well" means for this kind of project, because obviously it won't sell like a mainstream AAA game, I'm hoping for TRIV+V, not actually a trilogy but I honestly don't care about AoD.

I'm very curious how this will sell. Maybe there is hope for more classic game remasters. We've seen GTA Definitive Edition, and now this. Maybe this is a good sign for more to come.

Would also revive the completely uncreative and idealess industry. 😉
