PC Version not available anymore on Microsoft Store

Hello everyone.

I bought this game on November 16, 2023 from the Microsoft Store (PC version).

A few days ago, a few days after the launch, the developers decided to remove the PC version from said store without any notice.

Furthermore, not only did they remove the game from my game library, but they also did not refund the money I paid for it.

Which seems like a complete scam to me. At least they could have given a key to activate the Steam game, instead of acting in such a low manner.

Does anyone know the steps to follow to recover my game or my money?

They only give the option to refund. Its useless to me, because the game has raised its price since then and i cant buy it now.

Why are you asking here? Steam has nothing to do with the Microsoft Store. Get the refund from them and look around the grey market if it's too expensive on Steam.

Why would you get it on the Microsoft Store when you have a Steam account anyway?

Dude, im asking here because its a more active community than Microsoft.

And i bought it on that Store because it was 2000% cheaper than here. I have 600 games here, but im not tied to buy everything here, dont you think?

or, you have bought the original 25 year old version and that has now been removed, so god knows why you are here in the steam forum for the remaster that isn't released yet. hint: they aren't the same games.

Aside from the literal impossibility of that '2000% cheaper' claim, you ever think that Microsoft screwing up and posting it at the wrong price might be why they canceled out the pre-orders and then relisted it? On a side note, did you actually give it a few days between seeing it was delisted and actually checking with your payment processor to verify whether it was or was not refunded? It's not uncommon for transactions to take a while to show up in the system for user viewing. Usually 48-72 hour grace period is given.

That aside, you say microsoft support has already offered a refund. So I fail to see any real justification for complaint in the first place, let alone complaining here.

You will have to contact XBox Support to come to a resolution. Expect to provide your digital receipt and/or transaction number with the support agent.

Hello Rex Power Colt, I don't know if this will help you but I hope it does. I bought the game from the official Microsoft store and shortly after i pinned it to my taskbar and it is there. Upon reading your post I checked in the Microsoft store to check if perhaps is a regional thing but I noticed the game doesn't show up in the store anymore.

I can't lie, I did panic a bit so I immediately went to my library within the store and selected the games only. I found out the game is still there ready with the last modification made on the seventh of February ready to play for the fourteenth.

Could you kindly replicate the same steps to see if you still have it in your library (Microsoft store>library>games>check if listed)? if the game is not there I am afraid you might need to submit a ticket to Microsoft support team so they can solve it.

PS. and buy it from the steam store, it's at the same price and they are more reliable if there is something wrong
