Why would you get it on the Microsoft Store when you have a Steam account anyway?
And i bought it on that Store because it was 2000% cheaper than here. I have 600 games here, but im not tied to buy everything here, dont you think?
1. game isn't out yet, you've preordered a game that comes out in 3 days.

or, you have bought the original 25 year old version and that has now been removed, so god knows why you are here in the steam forum for the remaster that isn't released yet. hint: they aren't the same games.
That aside, you say microsoft support has already offered a refund. So I fail to see any real justification for complaint in the first place, let alone complaining here.
There's literally no point to complaining here, other than wanting people to go 'rabble-rabble-rabble' with you.
You will have to contact XBox Support to come to a resolution. Expect to provide your digital receipt and/or transaction number with the support agent.

That's the impression I had from your thread. Get your common sense right.
I can't lie, I did panic a bit so I immediately went to my library within the store and selected the games only. I found out the game is still there ready with the last modification made on the seventh of February ready to play for the fourteenth.
Could you kindly replicate the same steps to see if you still have it in your library (Microsoft store>library>games>check if listed)? if the game is not there I am afraid you might need to submit a ticket to Microsoft support team so they can solve it.
PS. and buy it from the steam store, it's at the same price and they are more reliable if there is something wrong
