Starring Lara Croft?

What you did with the name of the game?

007 Starring James Bond, Kung Fu Panda Starring Po, Mass Effect Starring Shepard ... The only reason, i could made to understand why they change the name to an absurd combination (Lara Croft Starring Lara Croft) is that, they want maximize tags in the name, to showed up the game in every internet search. But now you will loose players which would find this name stupid, and remaster of this games deserve a good name.

The name was "Tomb Raider I-III Remastered" which is a good name, on 7 february they change it to "007 Starring James Bond" - "Tomb Raider I-III Remastered Starring Lara Croft".

The second game was officially called Tomb Raider II: Starring Lara Croft.
I guess that's where they got it from. IMO not a big deal.

When Raiders of the Lost Ark came out, that was the title.
Now a days you're likely to see Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark.

That's the wrong context. Should be "James Bond starring Sean Connery".

The game is called Tomb Raider, and it's starring Miss Croft.

I have the original games from the 90's and they also say "starring Lara Croft" on the cover so what's the fuss all about? It's a nice bow towards the original release, everything so far has been great about this release, can't wait.

As far as i know it was only the Sequel that said Starring Lara Croft. perhaps different European version?

I owned Tomb Raider II for the Playstation back in the days, but, I think I sold it when I sold my PS.

I never finished the game back then, but, we played it a lot. It was fkn hard for us, lol.

This have the reason back then, because there wasn't idea of a franchise, continuation when "Raiders of the Lost Ark" came out. Now is better to connect all 3 Indiana Jones movies. The other situatiion is with the "Dollar's Trilogy" of Sergio Leone, which are very similar but have nothing common in the term of the story, so, unlike George Lucas he could not rename movies in "Man with No Name: A Fistful of Dollars", "Man with No Name: For a Few Dollars More", "Man with No Name: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly".
Nowadays "Lara Croft" and "Tomb Raider" mean one person, so they put in the title the same name twice, with intention to maximize resuslts on the internet search, they ruin common sence.
