It kinda feels like that Aspyr is afraid to show more of this remaster to us.
It is a remaster of a game that is 30 years old and that we all already know. I don't think they're trying to hide anything they just have a very small marketing budget.
Many of us don't like that project. That shine makes walls and structures look like plasticine. The settings look completely different from the originals, when the objective of this remaster is to preserve the original games.
By the way, the game does incorporate modern controls with a 360 camera, you should inform yourself before opening a thread complaining about a game that you don't even intend to buy.
But anyway we know you want it just take it:
I mean if you dont care about actual scenic and faithful application of lighting, both baked and dynamic, or care about the complete texture overhaul, new foliage, effects, objects and assets, volumetrics like fog and godrays, higher resolution and framerate, better draw distance, new skyboxes and modern controls + a wealth of bonus features, all applied to 3 full length games + expansions with a 100 hours of gameplay, but instead prefer a bland looking and bare bones, indoor-only, 15 minutes long, rtx hobby project on moddb that someone slapped together in a day, then I suppose there's no point in you buying this remaster.
I'm happy about that but it's gonna take some getting used to.
I gotta think that's gonna change the game, but IMO for the better.
Aspyr said they took inspiration from the TR Legend's controls, but we don't know much else.
You can toggle between the old tank controls and new ones, but yeah the lau controls is one of the features I'm most excited about.
You'll continue to be fed s**t as long as you eat it. And the funny thing is, not only do you eat it up, you defend it.
All textures have been renewed, including Lara, enemies and pick-up items. Vegetation and other effects have also been added to disguise the polygonal effect of the levels. Leaving aside the graphic aspect, modern controls, photo mode and trophies have also been included.
It's obvious you don't know what you're talking about, stop being ridiculous!
