Tomb Raider I-III Remastered Starring Lara Croft

Looks like a scam
There are a huge number of videos on youtube where they apply Nvidia reshade and nvdia rtx remix for the first three parts, and there game looks 100000 times better than this remaster. But if I can make the old parts look better than this remaster with the push of two buttons and one minute of time, what's the point of me buying it? Judging by the video, it doesn't even have a 360 camera, which was added by the community a long time ago.

The main problem I have with this remaster is that there is no actual gameplay video or any free demo for it.

It kinda feels like that Aspyr is afraid to show more of this remaster to us.

It is a remaster of a game that is 30 years old and that we all already know. I don't think they're trying to hide anything they just have a very small marketing budget.

Many of us don't like that project. That shine makes walls and structures look like plasticine. The settings look completely different from the originals, when the objective of this remaster is to preserve the original games.

By the way, the game does incorporate modern controls with a 360 camera, you should inform yourself before opening a thread complaining about a game that you don't even intend to buy.

The Point of the remasters is to be faithful so you can play original classic tomb raider games on the consoles and pc without owning the old games. its not to provide a new way of playing tomb raider.. its a remaster of the first 3 classic games.. Openlara is full of bugs and has malfunctioning physics the same is true of the RTX Remix that completely disgard the artistic visuals which was there for a reason. now i admit the idea of having a flashlight is appealing but only if it was limited and not active all the time and frankly i prefer vastly the flare system from the old TR 2 and TR 3 and beyond. So yeah conclusion not a scam and i would kindly ask you to stop spreading such misinformation around. thank you.

Looks like no one cares. Literally this:

Don't buy it then. I think the remasters look better than that crap you posted.
But anyway we know you want it just take it:

Ever since WarCraft 3 Reforged everyone has a right to be a little suspicious.

Yes, I totally agree with you. Many other remake/ remaster games too, for sure! However, This one is a passion project. No AI here, just a love letter.
I'm not really worried and continue to count down the day. At this point though I don't even need to face the screen. I've completed these games so many times I could do it blindfolded. ;P

I mean if you dont care about actual scenic and faithful application of lighting, both baked and dynamic, or care about the complete texture overhaul, new foliage, effects, objects and assets, volumetrics like fog and godrays, higher resolution and framerate, better draw distance, new skyboxes and modern controls + a wealth of bonus features, all applied to 3 full length games + expansions with a 100 hours of gameplay, but instead prefer a bland looking and bare bones, indoor-only, 15 minutes long, rtx hobby project on moddb that someone slapped together in a day, then I suppose there's no point in you buying this remaster.

It has modern controls? Like the reboot with TRA, Legend...?
I'm happy about that but it's gonna take some getting used to.
I gotta think that's gonna change the game, but IMO for the better.

Aspyr said they took inspiration from the TR Legend's controls, but we don't know much else.

You can toggle between the old tank controls and new ones, but yeah the lau controls is one of the features I'm most excited about.

With the originals I always stepped to the edge, jumped back one, then ran and jumped. It was very mechanical. This should be fun. I just hope they don't do the slow mo/dodge targeting. IMO that was the only misstep with the reboot.

For the ultra-minded, I'd like to explain. That all I see in this remaster is a slightly updated Lara texture, and that's all. Why is this game called a remaster if there are no changes? A remaster means redrawing textures, fixing the game's technological problems. For example, crooked sky textures, because in those times it could not be realized, control, and so on. When I look at this remaster, I don't see any difference from the original game. So what is the point of this remaster? If the crafts of the community, made on the knees of one man with a moddb look an order of magnitude better.

You'll continue to be fed s**t as long as you eat it. And the funny thing is, not only do you eat it up, you defend it.

All textures have been renewed, including Lara, enemies and pick-up items. Vegetation and other effects have also been added to disguise the polygonal effect of the levels. Leaving aside the graphic aspect, modern controls, photo mode and trophies have also been included.

It's obvious you don't know what you're talking about, stop being ridiculous!
