TR IV goofs a bit in the sense they still use the same Browning model in game and in inventory but she uses Colt 1911s in FMVs.
I do hope they use a different skin for the shotgun in TR III though. TR I & II used the model with wood, but III based the skin on a SPAS-12.
I think those are the Uzis (MAC-10s) in her holster, comparing it with the other image of them from the side. Boxy with a protruding barrel.
I am curious to see what the burst fire pistols from 2 and the magnums from 1 look like. It didn't really appear like they based either of those weapons on any specific real world weapons.
As for the magnums in TR1 I'm also interested to see what they use. In Anniversary they used a variant of the Desert Eagle (and listed them as .50 in game rather than magnums), but whether they'll do that in the remasters is a different matter given the Desert Eagle's appearance in TR3.
The automatic pistols in TR 2 look like fictionalized Glocks to me...
Yeah, I hope they don't base it on the Desert Eagles in TR 1.
And yes I think it would be nice if they use something other than the Desert Eagles in TR1 so it's more impactful to see it in TR3. There's lots of choice available given they were simply called "magnums", so any pistol that uses magnum cartridges would be suitable.
