Weapons!!!
I've noticed from the different game play clips and screenshots that Lara is using the same pistols. I really hope they use the different weapon models and sound effects for each game.

I was about to say that it's probably just because most of the promotional material might be from before they created models for the remastered visuals. But actually I looked through them and there's one where that's not the case. You can see the shotgun on her back, and the holstered pistols are dark so are probably the automatic pistols: https://www.instagram.com/p/C2iTm4lvu5O/

humm made me rethink that yes ara won't ever reload her shotgun or other if it's like the originals. Playing at Legend and other i notice that it's tru i was missing this thing. You could shoot as much as amunitions you had in old tomb raider.

What I meant was the pistols and sound effects TR1, 2 and 3 are all different. I hope they keep it that way. The pistols look the same but i've seen the TR2 and TR3 shotgun so maybe they will change it

TRLE is still actively being used to this day the mods for this game will fix everything and anything and lift this gem back where it needs to be

The only weapons I know of that needs to reload is the harpune gun from tr2 and 3.

That's right.

Regarding weapon sounds, I only recently came to the conclusion that the TR2 Automatic Pistols use the firing sound from RoboCop's Auto-9, and the TR2 Grenade Launcher uses sounds from both grenade launchers in Terminator 2 (M79 reload, MM-1 shooting). One thing I've always wondered, is if someone could tell me if the M16 sounds are sourced from something, and what it might be.

I don't mind her using the same pistols through all of these games. She was always portrayed as using a pair of Browning HPs. Their model in TR I in-game was different, as were most models, but the intent was for them to be Brownings.

TR IV goofs a bit in the sense they still use the same Browning model in game and in inventory but she uses Colt 1911s in FMVs.

I do hope they use a different skin for the shotgun in TR III though. TR I & II used the model with wood, but III based the skin on a SPAS-12.

I think those are the Uzis (MAC-10s) in her holster, comparing it with the other image of them from the side. Boxy with a protruding barrel.

I am curious to see what the burst fire pistols from 2 and the magnums from 1 look like. It didn't really appear like they based either of those weapons on any specific real world weapons.

I don't think so, as they're too dark if you compare to the "Uzis" from the static image and don't appear to have the folding stock. Yes they have a protruding barrel, but the TR2 auto pistols did have a short barrel visible, and if they modelled the remaster on the supposed real word equivalent, the TEC-22, it has an even longer barrel.

As for the magnums in TR1 I'm also interested to see what they use. In Anniversary they used a variant of the Desert Eagle (and listed them as .50 in game rather than magnums), but whether they'll do that in the remasters is a different matter given the Desert Eagle's appearance in TR3.

Its hard to tell, but you might be right...

The automatic pistols in TR 2 look like fictionalized Glocks to me...

Yeah, I hope they don't base it on the Desert Eagles in TR 1.

Yeah I must say I didn't even know about the TEC-22 when I looked it up, but it does seem somewhat similar apart from the magazines being short and square in game.

And yes I think it would be nice if they use something other than the Desert Eagles in TR1 so it's more impactful to see it in TR3. There's lots of choice available given they were simply called "magnums", so any pistol that uses magnum cartridges would be suitable.
