100% agree, I have the exact same feelings, I really do hope they make it an option too, really ruins the experience for me in relation to bosses.
Yeah i can't find a clear official statement on this, if it's not toggleable i hope we can count on a mod like you said.
Exactly, i feel like with an health bar you just focus on getting it down to finish the boss.
We loose so much on the immersion the tense of the encounter, which in the end it makes the boss less memorable.
They really should make it an option and it's really simple to do so everyone can have the best experience!
Why *wouldn't* they let you? It would make no sense.
1- Remove health bar for bosses (It ruins the challenge of not knowing when the boss dies).
2- Darkening areas that are supposed to be dark and hidden (There are areas that were intended to remain completely dark to hide a secret or hide something scary, or hide a trap, but the remaster ruined them.
The remaster was faithful to the original games in almost everything, except for these two matters.
