Seriously Cabela, no multiplayer?
I think my title speaks for itself. Being a hunter, the best part of hunting is going out with a partner or team. I've solo hunt before (due to plans falling through) and it's really a big difference that, I've got to say, isn't as enjoyable. Coordinating your actions with a partner, and having a story to share, are two big things about hunting that this game REALLY lacks. Every hunter I know goes out with at least one other person, which you can't simulate with AI.

Seriously Cabela... It's 2016. You've been making hunting games for about 20 years now. Isn't it time you made a true-to-life, "as if you were there", multiplayer hunting game?

No developper is going to read your message. The game has been given up. After releasing they did not even care to fix a few (and one very disturbing) bugs.
Why I do not know; it has enormous potential. The basics of the game are very good, the graphics are decent. You can easily sell new releases; first fix the bugs and then make it multiplayer, add weapons, maps, animals.
When it runs it is still far better than any other hunting game I've played yet.
Check out "Whitetail Challenge" for example, a recent attempt of Mossberg to come with a hunting game. It is very pathetic compared to this game.

That's not the point. Without consumers leaving messages, such as this, it drops the blame on the consumer for not telling the developer what they want from future products.

This message is my responsibility and gives the developer has the opportunity to decide if they'll read it, or not, and apply what they've been told, or not. If they choose not to read it, and continue with their current course of pumping out the same game over and over again then consumers like me will continue to not buy their product over and over again. It's as simple as that.

Actually, a lot of companies out there pay big research money to get this kind of information on potential customers.

You seem to misunderstand my words. There are not doing more games like this anymore. There has not been since april 2014 and there will be no new version of Cabela, unless you pick up your valuable opion and decide to take up programming. It is not about developers not wanting to read. There simply are no developpers anymore. No support was ever given on this game. No plans to continue. Activision is the publisher and does not even seem to acknowledge they "bought" the game. The programming company was shortly after the release bought by another company to work on other games:

It is certainly not the blame of the customers. Why you say that? Lots of persons -including me- took responsiblity and try to tell them Steam, Activision, what is left of Cauldron; because we enjoyed pretty much some features of the game. They just ignore calls and messages (if they ever were read at all)..

Well, then sadly what I said has already come to pass... Customers left them valuable information, they ignored it, Cabela hunting games folded.
