Let's talk bridges (aka rolling into the water platform)

I know it's been mentioned before but it's been a year with no movement. Can we please address the bridge width and make it wide enough to be useful? Trucks barely fit even when you maneuver into the perfect position that it's almost better to winch yourself through than deal with the inevitable roll into the water. Any thoughts on putting this into a future patch?

Honestly I think I've only rolled myself off one bridge In the whole time I've been playing. They're basically guaranteed shortcuts so I guess to balance that they make you have to slow down and be careful crossing them. Just line it up, throw it in Low and tilt the camera so you can look down on your truck. It's really not that bad.

I can understand that logic in many cases, especially with smaller scout vehicles. But when you get into the 6x6 or, like Devious mentioned, the 8x8's, it gets tedious. Even more so with Workshop trucks (although I know the game isn't designed to accommodate mods). Maybe it's just more of an inconvenience that I feel could be easily addressed with a slight tweak. Or another alternative could be leaving the standard bridge alone, but adding an option to build a larger bridge using more spare parts if desired.

On the flip side, if you DO have a larger truck you can generally just drive right through most river crossings without much trouble, I feel like the bridges are mainly intended to help scouts and the 4x4s. I hadn't had any issues with them until I tried to tow the Tatra over that one I believe we are all lamenting over. In which case, I ended up just dragging the thing along the shore then taking my Step 310 swimming to go get it. Water is a lot less to be feared in Expeditions, I have found. Don't be afraid to get a little wet.
