is there even a decent way to navigate out of this place? I absolutely hate it I'm lucky to leave without flipping or destroying my engine on the rocks

I have three routes I usually take. The shortest one is a slope at the north of the base, but may take some minor damage going down there.
Second route is to the south and using the trees to repel down. Not without risk ofc but I rarely had issues using those (I use the same tactic in other areas too).
Third route is going the long way around. It's kinda slow but it's safe.
