DS4Windows issues (DS4 controller)

When I use this program with my DS4 controller (don't own a xb controller) the game won't let me get out of park, change AWD/Diff or go through inventory. I need to constantly swap to kb to un-park and go into diff lock. Then also another issue, my mouse icon will randomly be on screen on and off. I'm in fullscreen and my 2nd monitor is off. I can drive around fine and decrease tire pressure and swap around my devices with the controller. Any ideas what could be the issue? I've swapped controllers out and same thing. Really don't want to drive with KB&M.

from what you have typer it sounds like your not holding down r1 and are using l1 mine is fine but i dont use 3rd party crap i just plug it in and it works fine

I'm holding R1 to bring up the options to release brake/diff etc. Also L1 works fine when adding gas and fixing parts. Are you using a Playstation controller or a Xbox controller?

I have the samre problem and it looks like it try to change gamepad from PS to Xbox with every pressed button

Ok I know where is problem you need to close the ds4 program.
I dont test it properly but maybe you need to run ds4 to connect PS4 or PS5 gamepad, then start the game and when you are in the game you close ds4windows program and it is working good

Ok, it was hard but you need HidHide
-You have DS4windows
-you need to install hidhide via ds4windows settings - controler/driver settings
-reboot pc (it will ask you)
-make sure ds4 is closed
-start button open hidhide conf client
-hide gamepad
-opends4 you will see key next to your gamepad (if you see X its bad) you need to see key
-run game
-enjoy
