It's not like in Farming Simulator for example, where tracks are just animated and there are still wheels, just not visible. The way SnowRunner and now Expeditions are made, there would have to be actual tracks.
well BeamNG didn't have track mechanics either, some modders tried, but it didn't really work, however devs finally added official tracked vehicles and then the tank mod was also updated and it now works like a real tank, it's so much fun to drive it, but BeamNG doesn't have offroad mechanics like Runner series.
my first request would be an actual tank with proper setup mods, like ability to replace turret with cargo racks and such.
then make scout vehicle with tracks as wheels, some DYI style that you can see in real life. 4x tracks instead of wheels.
and half-track truck would be nice aswell, something slow, but very good in extreme conditions (which is why half-tracks were made in real life).
and finally some fun-type tracked trucks, like one of those 8-wheeled beasts, only instead of 8 wheels, you'd have 4x tracks and tracks should also turn like wheels. i think some real life trucks already exist that use similar method.
only reason why i like mudrunner series, is cuz of the physics, so tracked vehicles is kind of a MUST have. they don't even have to make tracked vehicles, they can just add the possibility into the engine and let modding community take over.
