I agree though, there's a lot of areas that are just a complete mess.
- Turning off the engine doesn't disable the engine sound..
- You cannot move your viewport diagonally with a mouse (only horizontal or vertical wtf??)..
- Tutorial that explains the obvious but ignores the actual weird game quirks that should be explained..
- Half the players will be unable to pick up the radar from the water due to a hidden game Mechanic not explained (many will flush the game right here)..
- Janky af - the button says "TO HEADQUART (new line) ERS".. this is so embarrasing.
- In the garage, clicking on the truck does nothing, you must click on "RESOURCES" to access truck modifications (makes no sense)..
- Drone's mouse sensitivity is... inverse? The slower you move your mouse, the faster it moves. Move the mouse fast and it practically stops turning. Super weird.
- Some dialog boxes (explanation of radar roof thingy) have their "ok" button right on text (misaligned)
- The opening/closing animation for the radar is very cool, but gets very annoying since you cannot drive while it plays.
and these are just in the first 15 minutes of the game. I shudder to think what I will see if I continue to play.
Delay the release and fix the game before people destroy it in ratings.
Inbefore "Mostly Negative" reviews on Steam.
Thanks for the reply, but it doesn't work - I drive into the blue square, but nothing happens. Still have the "recover to the base and park the truck". There is no way to park the truck apparently, soft-locking the game.
EDIT: figured it out. There is a separate blue square that game wants you to drive to, that is not the square you recover to, like in SR. Things like these show how rushed this was.
Yeah there is no garage like in Snowrunner. You choose your trucks/help for the expedition and you're stuck with those until you return to HQ.
Man, this game is like that meme - "mom can I have snowrunner? We have snowrunner at home".
Just wait until you transfer maps with one truck, run out of fuel and then the expedition is finished because even though you deployed other vehicles you can't switch to those and you can't recover to the first map.
oh. my. God.
What's more, the game is teaching you to drive to a place to end your session, when you should actually just be choosing it from the menu.
A restart fixed this one.. but man, this is a bit buggy. Still having fun, though :)
