G29 Setup?
Playing with a G29 wheel with pedals, and setting up with TRUEFORCE in the game makes the feedback work, but none of the controls work. If I switch it to Logitech Legacy, or anything else really, the controls work but I don't get force feedback and only 180 degrees wheel movement.

Anybody else playing with a G29 that can get this to work?

Setting / Value
Steering Mode / Steering Wheel

Setting / Value
Type / DirectInput
Wheel Presets / G29 or G920
Wheel Sensitivity / 1.00
Force Feedback / 0.90
Tilt Gain / 0.30
Friction Base Level / 0.28
Friction Gain / 0.70
Spring Gain / 0.30
Collision Gain / 1.00
Vibrotactile Force Gain / 0.00 (This only matters if you have a G923)

I still can't detect my shifter unless I make a custom control profile that seems to reset every time the game closes.

EDIT:

FOR GHUB:

(SUGGEST MAKE CUSTOM PROFILE TO GAME PATH)

Setting / Value
Operating Range / 390° <------------
Sensitivity / 50
Centering Spring / Off

It's not just the G29 that has problems. Thrustmaster wheels also have controls problems unfortunately.

my controls on the G29 seem to be broken, for some reason that I do not understand the breaks are going ape... can't play in automatic, as soon as I step off the throttle, the car goes into autoreverse.... no matter what settings I put in there (except the Trueforce, sine that does nothing at all)

+1 the steering wheels are broken, G29 confirmed. GG day 1 play testers

Set brake setting to reverse if you insta reverse. But feedback is broken. On SnowRunner for G29 you had to use Legacy Input and have Ghub running in background, but here it doesn't work with legacy, direct, or etc.

It is possible I guess that we need Logitech and the controller drivers to update to detect the game, but that would be pretty stupid lame that a generic setting wouldn't work at all.

No Force Feedback really sucks hope they fix before real release.

Shameless ask

Has ‘anyone’ gotten ‘any’ wheel’s FFB to work??? Tried two computers now. Curious is they tested any wheels at all.

my Thrustmaster T818 works fine when set as a T300, force feedback is working fine and all the buttons work as mapped.

Maybe I'll try it as a different wheel later thanks. The game detect the wheel and pedals on Direct and Legacy but nothing else -- I cannot get any FFB response period; only super hard centering (unless I turn off centering in the Ghub app) but nothing from game. If I turn around and start Snowrunner same setup it works =,(

Hope someone gets it working.

I hope it gets fixed for ya soon Holyvision. My comment was in answer to anyone getting FFB to work and for me it was out of the box, other than the T300 setting, which I have to do in Snowrunner as well.

Well my T300 doesnt work with the T300 Settings. Everything is mixed up and i cant use it at all.

I finally got my G29 to work after rolling back my GHUB software to an older version, even though this one works fine with Snowrunner. That said, the FFB is sort of whack out the gate, if anyone wants to give it a go this helps a lot:

Setting / Value
Steering Mode / Steering Wheel

Setting / Value
Type / DirectInput
Wheel Presets / G29 or G920
Wheel Sensitivity / 1.00
Force Feedback / 0.90
Tilt Gain / 0.30
Friction Base Level / 0.28
Friction Gain / 0.70
Spring Gain / 0.30
Collision Gain / 1.00
Vibrotactile Force Gain / 0.00 (This only matters if you have a G923)

I still can't detect my shifter unless I make a custom control profile that seems to reset every time the game closes.

EDIT:

FOR GHUB:

(SUGGEST MAKE CUSTOM PROFILE TO GAME PATH)

Setting / Value
Operating Range / 390° <------------
Sensitivity / 50
Centering Spring / Off

Nailed it! Wish it worked a little better but these settings are good enough. Thanks!

What version of G-hub did you have to revert to? I can’t get the game to recognize any inputs at all on my G29. Thanks for the help!
