not sure i can stop this, but i will check it out!
I'm stumbling over item selection at the moment to a degree where I'm banjaxed implementing plans that require on-the-fly item swaps. Maybe that's a skill issue and a desired part of the chaotic fun, but I can't help wanting something like in FPSs, or ARPGs or whatever. So as an example, I'd have the movement as is under my left hand, but with numpad 1, 2 and 3 as item select, and 5 for shoot.

I have been able to get out of fullscreen mode by pausing and going up 5 times to press fullscreen tho.
i get that desire, but the switching is important to me for some dumb reason. What i am thinking about doing is allowing you to switch the order of items, so you can have nicer combo setups!
maybe my desire to have unilateral switching is just dumb, ill think on it!
thanks! 360 degree aiming has proven to lead to extremely fiddly gameplay. people stop thinking about the tools bc they only think about angles! it's way less snappy!
I might add mouse support later, but that would also be 4-directional :)
ah damm! i dont have dualboot, so i cant really check that! am working on linux rn tho, maybe i can get it done :)
rn it's on a debugging key!
press 3 and stuff will speed up!
i will replace this in the next update with a "hold JUMP to speed up animations" system tho
i changed them! they should kinda roll around when you bump into them!
how does it crash? just stops running? closes itself? no "continue" button?
