Even more than that - joining the game now, I get disconnected with message "could not connect to the lobby"-like. even the main screen is displayed without any controls, so I have to press Esc to get it back to the screen

Was this happening only over the weekend, or are you still experiencing it today?

And were you trying to join an Online or Online with Friends game in this particular situation?

This was regular Online yesterday. And yes - it works just fine now.

I take my positive comment back. Playing now Online (regular) with my Wife, we both noticed that game became very slow - so that even taking the cards or tickets is lagging a lot. Several times, I take 1 open card, but then can not take the 2nd, it just does not allow to do it when hovering mouse over it,. The only solution is to quickly exit and login back. This is one of most annoying bugs, to be honest.

Delay unresponsive now online games....why?

So for last several days. When I play a game online the responsiveness of game-play (picking cards, etc.) is always slow. Annoyingly slow where I am now accidentally picking up cards I don't want. What happened? Please fix.

There is definitely something wonky going on - perhaps from a recent update. My CPU fan never even used to turn on running TTR, but now it's going full bore like I'm mining bitcoin or something and that's just launching the app and sitting at the entry screen. The fan shuts off almost instantly upon me exiting TTR. Windows task manager shows TTR "idling" at 11% CPU and I'm running on a Core I9.

We're sorry to hear about your experience, guys. Could you please confirm the game mode you were all playing in? Online, Single Player, etc.

The more detail, the better. Which map was it? Does it happen in every game? If It's Single-Player, how many bots?

It's working online now. No more delay. Your behind the scenes guys on your end must have fixed it. But if you still need: 13th Gen Intel i9-13900K, 64GB RAM, RTX 4090. Windows 11.
