Ticket to Ride - Round the World Ticket

I bought the new game December 23rd. Then I see "Ticket to Ride - Round the World Ticket" on discount and bought that today. What did I buy? I can't see a new game installed and the map options for the main game are the same. I thought this purchase would give me a 'World Map'.

at the moment it only adds the EU pack. Ik ik, how sad :(

well when you compare that the EU map is 7.50 US. The Round the World Ticket DLC promises that you will gain access to 10 maps in total so that is worth 75 US and you got it for 24.50 US that is a steal. PS they say that there going to release a new map in next year in the first quarter.

Ah IC. It's a pay now and feel the benefit later deal? Really wish they'd put that in big letters on the outside - metaphorically speaking.

The Euro map was available to play immediately after I bought the base game - in fact it was the first map I played.

The Europe map was a free gift for those who’d owned the old Twin Sails version of the app. The Round the World ticket is basically a bundled discount subscription to the next nine maps that are produced; they’ll automatically be added to your account as they are released, along with any new characters, train designs, and other decorative addons that are included with each map expansion. By buying it now, you are also helping to support development of those new maps, meaning that they might even come out faster than they would have otherwise.
