Local Companion App Implementation

I recently bought this newer version of Ticket to Ride for myself. Even though I have many issues with it such as all players requiring DLC to play with each other or the horrendous 'modern' artwork in my opinion, it runs smoothly and shows potential. I highly suggest you reconsider allowing a friend host a game with DLC like Ticket to Ride Classic did.

Complaints aside, let me explain my position and maybe some suggestions on how to implement the companion app feature the coming year. I have a big family with many of them living out of state or overseas. When we're together we play a lot of board game. I own the many of the physical editions of Ticket to Ride and the digital classic version on several devices. A lot of these family members are not avid PC users. I have helped setup steam accounts as well as purchasing keys just to play Ticket to Ride with them. Some of them have only one computer.

It would be greatly appreciated if the app were able to work with at least online private matches. That way I can play with more than one family member at a time if there's only one PC available at their end. If this was implemented or even allow for sharing DLC like the previous version did, I might consider buying this for some of my family members.
