About the PS3 version...
Has it been fixed yet, and if not, will it be fixed? I felt the need to hold off playing this supposedly amazing game, because the Director's Cut release on PS3 suffers from stuttery audio and a horrendous frame-rate that apparently wasn't in the original game.

I know that patching games on consoles costs an arm and a leg for smaller publishers, so will there be a patch if this PC port sells well?

I don't know if there will be patches in the future; but for the PC version, it would certainly be easier and faster to patch.

Thanks for the heads-up about the PS3 version. I played the 360 version and now I'm glad I waited for the PC Directors Cut to hit steam (thanks TerribleMouse).

Patches are so much easier for PC games but I'm honestly not sure if Steam charge publishers for PC patches? I really hope not.

I played it a few weeks ago and there is still no patch for the PS3 version. The audio and stutters are ridiculously bad on my PS3 and I don't know why. Hopefully this version will be free of those types of bugs, but I'm not buying it until at least a week after it's been out.

I sold my 360 late last year and so I was looking forward to the PS3 version, since it was going to have some new things added to it, so I was rather disappointed when I read about the problems the game was having. At least with the PC port it will be easier for them to release a patch and if worst comes to worst, there will likely be a fan patch made if there's any serious issues they fail to fix.

I own the PS3 version. Never having owned the original Xbox version, the PS3 version suffers from low framerate and audio issues. As of currently, according to Rising Star games Twitter, there won't be any patches made for the PS3 version. Despite all that, I loved the game and will be getting it on Steam. Perhaps there will be patches made to fix these issues, and even if there isn't some fan is bound to make something. There's quite a following for the game.
