thanks! id like to get an artbook? or is the game too old?
It is such a creative game but I guess maybe they lost all that stuff T_T

There is an artbook but it's iPad 3.0+ exclusive and $10. It's a humongous 352 pages and includes the soundtrack, though, so I guess that makes it only $0.03 per screen. There are a few concept sketches and hi-res working models that were never shown to the public before, too.

aw crap that woulda been awesome to get that PDF!!!!
oooo devs this game is so creative a niche that is one of my favorites please post it online for us or include it with the game for those of us who preordered or for everyone who may enjoy it.

ipad exclusive that is well kinda weird, pdfs work on computers too :P

I'm not sure they're going to release the artbook on PC, but I hope they'll reconsider. :/

I think the developers want to make a bit more money by having some exclusive content.
Also, the guide is interactive which requires the touch screen - which is probably why they chose to make it exclusive to the Ipad (though, it could possibly work with Windows 8).

Yeah, I have no idea why they wouldn't just strip the interactive maps and release it as a pdf for the Deluxe Edition. It's not like there are many DP fans who don't already have "Life is Beautiful" on their playlists. :squirtyay:

I have the Ipad book. Well the free trial and its very cool. Going to buy it once I have the game up and running on my pc.

Artbooks in non-physical form just don't work for me.

When a game is really good, as in I really like it I enjoy looking at it but yea im weird that way. Maybe they could like just put it in an extras menu for the game or something.

Its not just a artbook. Its more of a interactive doo daa, With sounds and clips etc. Its about 2 gig big !

Very true; it has an interactive map, the soundtrack...I've forgotten what else is on it. ^^;

In the least, we're getting the soundtrack with the game on Steam - which is great because I've never been able to find the complete soundtrack anywhere; but, I guess we'll need to see what happens on release - maybe they'll slip something else in at the last minute.

ooOOooooo that would be exciting! Too bad I guess all that interactive stuff would go but meh I just like looking at the artwork, those creative people I love seeing all that hard work its very inspiring seeing how creative they are in making these games for us.

Agreed, I love looking at artbooks! ^^

I do wish they'd make a paperback copy, it really wouldn't be that much of a problem.
In fact, it would add more to their profits - some fans would go for the Ipad version, and some could go for the paperback copy. :p

The iPad visual guide (it now also works on Macs with 10.9) is free on the US and UK stores. So if you have an account on either of those it's worth picking up.

Along with the concept art and background stuff there's minigames, a soundboard and most of the soundtrack (20 out of the 25 tracks).
