Thomas doesn't come to the bar...

I got into the whole sidequest thing a bit late. I'm replaying chapter 7 now, trying to get the Unwanted Customer quest but Thomas NEVER shows up at the Galaxy of Terror, behind the counter or otherwise. When I talk to Carol she occassionally says something like "Where's Thomas?" or "Thomas is taking a break," and on the map I sometimes see two NPC icons at the top of the stairs, I'm assuming one is him. Is this a bug? Should I come back at a later chapter?

He's usually there at around 20:00 for me, sounds like he's down in the basement though. Also, depending on the chapter, characters might be in different locations outside of their normal schedule. Like when Emily and George are waiting for you at the hospital, they wont get home until near midnight.

Had the same problem with George (he was in the Galaxy of Terror when I needed him in his house). Trying during different chapter helped.
