Svchost.exe (DcomLaunch) issue?

The game runs fine at first, but after launching it the first time, the framerate starts to slow down dramtically. I've notice that when it starts to slow down, an svchost.exe (DcomLaunch) starts to run up a little CPU activity only when the game is running. When the games first runs (60fps), the svchost process is not running. This same exact problem and symptom happens with Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds. Any thoughts about this svchost process being the culprit?
