Emily won't cook with me

I've completed the game and am now replaying chapters to finish the rest of the side quests. The only two I'm missing is 7 and 8, the last two cooking ones. I've been able to enter Emily's house in ch 2, 11 and 13, but she just talks to me and I'm unable to start the quests.

Could it be because I finished quest 6 in chapter 13 during my original playthrough and you can only cook once each chapter?

Has anyone else tried this and found a solution?

I managed to resolve this myself. I went to ch 6 and 7 to do quest 7 and 8 respectively. I slept a few days at Anna's Tree until it started raining at 18:00.

I don't know whether it's the choice of chapters or the passing of days that resolved it. Heck, for all I know it could be the stinky agent status that did it!
