How do I get a controller to run on this?

I have an afterglow 360/pc controller

hit play go to settings and change the setting from keyboard to controller

hmm... not sure whats wrong then... possibly it only works with official controllers

Go to your controller setup menu. (In Windows 10, type "Controllers" in the Windows start bar, then select "Set up USB Game Controllers" then click advanced. Select the controller and hit okay. This game very specifically requires controllers to be set as the preferred device to work. It's weird.

Make sure your Xbox controller drivers are enabled on Steam.

Steam > Settings > Controller > General Controller Settings > Xbox Configuration Support
