2020 fixes collection

Hello ! just made a .rar file with every fix and mods I could find online all into one single download, hopefully this will help people to play and discover this true gem with reduced chance of crashing, true 1080p and some other cool fix ! also added a quick guide about how to install it.

It include :

• Latest version of DPFIX, already configured and ready to go if you play in 1080p
  
• Every texture fix I could find
  
• Fully working fix for controllers, both PS4 et Xbox One (with PS4 button prompt if you need them)
  
• A sweet fx which will make the colors a bit warmer and closer to the original 360 version (will also fix a SSAO issue from DPFIX)
  
• Some save file if you need them

reinstalling this bad boy now. tried it once when i purchased it, and it crashed almost immediately. i gave up after hearing all the bad reports.. i appreciate the pack, hoping it lets me dig into this game finally!

So is it normal for the PS4 controller to only be able to rotate the camera one direction and the axis being off center? I mean it's playable if I concentrate on my inputs but it's makes navigating, fighting and sighting enemies difficult to say the least.

I mean it's already difficult but I didn't really want that extra layer since I'd died from it in the intro area several times because I couldn't rotate fast enough or I panicked and didn't hold the analog in the right direction so it wouldn't rotate. I can't help but think at the later areas might be straight up impossible.

Only reason I'm asking is I did copy over the files for PS4 controller. Is anyone else having issues? Should I dig through my stuff and look for my Xbox 360 controller?

I'm using a PS4 controller too and it seems that the game doesn't like it. So I turned off DS4 support in Steam and downloaded DS4Windows which makes the DS4 act like a Xbox 360 controller and then it worked.

I am unable to aim properly with DPfix installed. Unable to aim up or down. If I alt-tab with it uninstalled I regain the full range of motion and can aim as normal. Anyone else have this issue? Wish there was a way to play with proper aiming and the 1080p of DPfix.

Can anyone tell me, whats wrong with the gun-aiming?
When I press up, it aims to te left, when I press down it aims to the right.......

This is very cool. finished the game on xbox 360 and own the directors cut on ps4. Apparantly the pc would have some extra's that neither aforementioned platforms has to fofer so I'd like to try. so, with all the fixes in one place, could anyone write a short manual of what goes where after unzipping? Call me stupid if you will, just asking so not o mess the game up when I experiment. Thanks!

I can't get past the cut scene at the beginning of chapter 2 episode 11. It freezes and crashes every time. Right after you leave the milk barn and talk to Emily about finding the twins. I tried the folder fixes no chance, I tried using the included save file for that episode still crashes at the same point. any one have a save file from just after that scene?
