Freeze in Chapter 3 Episode 1
Already tried DPFix. I've been trying to fix it for well over an hour now. After killing the 3 zombies in the entrance, Morgan looks up, it loads, and then the cutscene freezes the second it starts

The solution I think is on other discussion posts, but I’ll try summing it up here. I’m not on the computer at the moment so apologies if the instructions are choppy.

- Right click the game from your library and select Properties
- Under the "Local Files" tab, select Browse Local Files
- For BOTH the “DP” and “DPLauncher” files, do the following:
— Right click and select Properties
— Select the Compatibility tab
— Under Compatibility Mode, tick the box and in the drop down list select “Windows XP (Service Pack 2)”
— Apply the changes

Once you change the compatibility mode to Windows XP Service Pack 2 for both DP and the DPLauncher, launch the game as you normally would from Steam. It’ll pop a window up afterward asking you something or other if it’s okay to proceed. Accept and once you beat those 3 zombies, you should find that the cutscene plays no problem.

Again, not at my computer so my instructions may not be the best. Let me know if it helps! I love this game and I’m happy to help others enjoy it on PC!

Edit: Got to computer and spruced up the instructions to make them a bit clearer.

Welcome to my world man, I have never beaten the game because it freezes at the spot and crashes. That is just how the PC port is. It is released on Switch but that sh!t cost $30.00.
