Other than being on the switch, what else is different about origins?

Probably more stable LOL
from what i hear they are having issues on switch. FPS drops, sounds dropping out or not being there at all.

From what I recall, Origins on the Switch is built using elements from the original DP and the Director's Cut--utilising the newer UI elements (and I assume gameplay tweaks) but doesn't include any of the new director's cut cutscenes for whatever reason. (You can tell right away since the Origins version doesn't open with the little girl wanting to hear a story) Perhaps they felt those might go against what they're crafting in the sequel?

And yeah, there's the list of technical issues that seem to be cropping up.

Most likely , it is after all cut content from the original game by SWERY, so it doesnt have to be canon, its a director's cut.
