Magicka: Wizards of the Square Tablet

Magicka: Wizards of the Square Tablet

"Est. value 95 USD"
"Exclusively for the PC version your wizard will get all in-game Robes and Staffs for free in this enhanced square edition, and all your gear carry over to other platforms! (Est. value 95 USD)"
The wording is a bit vague here.
Is this saying that, by buying Wizards of the Square Tablet, I would unlock all of the Robes and Staffs in the regular 3D version of Magicka?
I suppose the expansion story content is excluded from this, though.

Basically it has everything unlocked, originally on the tablet you would have to farm gold or purchase all of the goodies, the PC version it's all yours right off the bat.

You're saying the PC version of Wizards of the Square Tablet has everything unlocked, then? I'm asking about the original Magicka, the 3D one where you have 8 elements instead of 7. Buying this game /does not/ unlock anything in that original Magicka game, does it?

Looking at the screenshots then looking over to "95USD SAVINGS!" made me lol hard enough to come post on the forums.

Don't get me wrong, the game is great, it's just absurd to say something so outrageous. It's like one of those cheap commercials, and brings the whole name brand of magika down. In my case, it completely tuned me off to this title in the future. Just say it unlocks all console version items or something. You're just distracting peoples' focus from the game with such outrageous claims, no matter how "true."

To be honest, instead of "Est. value 95 USD", they could also have written "Seriously, you don't want to buy this game. Really!" I was honestly interested in this game, but after reading this line I decided to simple avoid the game and save € 4.99.

Same here. Oh, and this post has an estimated value of at least a hundred bucks.

This marketing is probably the worst I've ever, ever seen.

Lol, 95$ value? I wouldn't even get this for 5$. But I guess I don't know what "value" is, right?

Agreed.

Question:
Does "carry over to other platforms" include the tablet?
Say, if I have the tablet version + purchase this version... then I get it unlocked on the 'tablet' platform as well?
Or is that misleading?

I notice there was no answer to my question above.

And what's the point of there being microtransactions in this?

Still no answer.

I wonder if the developers are even still paying attention.
