are there multiple endings?

i thought i heard someone say there were multiple endings but i'm worried about spoilers if i look it up, i already beat it twice, didn't feel like there was anything i could do differently, that plus the book in the medical bay called "up or down? the illusion of choice" makes me feel like it's taunting me lol

I assumed that book was a small nod to the dev’s previous game, “How Fish Is Made”, in which characters constantly ask you if you’re going up or down.

Besides that, no I do not believe that there are multiple endings although take me with a grain of salt, I’ve been wandering around forums trying to find an answer for it myself. However I can find no evidence for an alternate ending, all discussion on this game seem to always track with one specific timeline of events, deviating insofar as achievements are either missed or gained.
