As for the characters, I wouldn't say no to more character development but i also feel like what we got painted a pretty good picture of each of them?
I get where you're coming from and understand how one would think I'm upset but I'm not particularly upset, because overall I did enjoy the game and it's not that the game played with my expectations if anything it went how I thought it would it's just after actually playing it, now I wish there was more for the player base to experience and you're right about the characters and how we got a pretty well view of the characters but like I said before I just wish we (it might just be me) were able to get a better connection to the character and be able to feel more emotionally attached to them, maybe it really is just me but I didn't feel a crazy attachment to the crew themselves.
Hopefully that helps you understand where I'm coming from a little better maybe?
I don't wanna sound like a broken record player here but at this point it really is more of a personal thing at this point because I just wanted to see more due to how little they gave us yet it gave such an impact that I wanted more of the game as a whole because of how much I enjoyed it yet loathed how little we got.
I wanted to connect more to the characters, because there are indeed games where I felt so connected to certain characters that I couldn't even play the game for a little bit.
Also using the aspect of a movie if also pretty good but not at the same time because those are two different medians because you're experiencing them different while one you're watching one's life unfold right before your eyes(the movie) and in a game you are the character themselves you are mentally becoming one with the character and there are times you even pause and think if you can change anything within the game even though you already know you can't because there are already set boundaries and roads and a lot of the times they're not the options you want but you're forced to choose one of those options.
anyways yea that's what I got and I didn't necessarily get/have those feelings.^^^
but still I did really enjoy the game nonetheless even thought it may seem like I didn't.
