Everyone keeps saying "the anti woke" crowd

Am I missing something, I didn't think this game was woke, so why do yall keep perpetuating this?

From my understanding the timeline is,

1. Someone makes art of a character and gives them a larger chest.

2. Random people start harassing said Artist for this.

3. Developer tweets out to not harass anyone or you are not welcome in the community.

4. Asmond sees this drama, and decides to check out game.

5. He gave it praise AND postive words, said nothing negative about the game itself, even telling his viewers to buy it.

6. Mentally handicapped and insecure composer gets anal hurt that Asmond is praising the game, and doesn't want him or his viewers playing the game. So much so telling people to self delete

7. Grummz is tagged in the drama, and focuses solely on the rouge dev, and still praises said game.

Not sure, how this has anything to do with anti woke culture. Considering asmond is pro lgb in every way. It really boils down to the composer causing drama over nothing, then making him, the company and game look bad.

We originally argued whether or not OP was framing it incorrectly, but that changed over the course of the discussion. And as I said, I conceded that he did minimize the extend of the art. But the discussion kept on going, so here we are.

You know, you can filter out anything anyone says that way, right? Would you extend that benefit to any individual, even your opponents? One could say the most sloppy thing and you could go and say "He matter of factly stated XYZ."

Let me try: The commenter in the third image on Reddit mater-of-factly stated that "It is alright to show the devs the error of their ways in strident manner. It is my firm believe that they are disseminating nonsense and that they should be held accountable for potentially damaging their brand. I think they are not very fond of their customers."

You are deliberately not reading what I am saying. I don't have issues with how he's saying what he's saying. I have issues with you portraying it in a different light. He can say whatever he wants, but don't claim he was all polite and got a response for no reason. You make it out to be he got flak without provocation.

Martin did not only speak about Asmon. The totality of his correspondence includes Grummz in this case.

As for the fourth image, I condemn that there are direct insults (monster). It wasn't the devs, it was one dev (or rather a composer, people don't differentiate, that's a tactical error), and the game is not at fault. He shouldn't be harassed, he should just take as much as he gives, and I think in the screenshots I provided, it was even-handed. Even most of the threads are equally passionate as the composer's posts were without any insults.

Besides. I didn't "dig out" deleted tweets. His X-account is protected and the screenshots are available on Grummz's X-account.

No, I don't need it nor want it that directly. But an unlocked door and a night in a different room is not as conclusive as you make it out to be. If there is more evidence, please provide. I am willing to change my mind, as I have demonstrated here already on some points.

I am also genuinely interested in the game, I have it on my Wishlist. Been a while since I played a good horror game.

Can I suggest that you try it, genuinely don't want to spoil it.

I hate how this controversy has spoiled the game for me more. It was already bad with people on YouTube spoiling it through video thumbnails and titles, but now it's just worse.
Apparently i am not able to enjoy things in this world.

"Anti-gay" is the wrongful label he placed on Asmon and others. Don't go jumping trough hoops trying to bad faith this.

His community is unquestionably anti-gay. Read any post about the LGBT community in his subreddit. Denying the reality of the behaviour of his fans does not help your case.

He literally got banned off Twitch for saying it's wrong for Muslim countries to kill people for being gay. He is probably more pro-LGBT than you are, since I doubt you'd put your career on the line to defend minorities
