heck he didn't expect anyone to care or really want it out there, it's just on his social media (having a flag your bio is 100% okay but even posts/replies/likes hinting at the idea you're homosexual exist) and like you said, should be separate to the game/games how it is currently

i don't really know the full story, assuming he saw asmongolds video (which i'm going off) and made a tweet, it's fair to be worried... not much to go off of here, i'm kinda confused actually so ill just wait for another comment

I don't hate the game, the game is amazing. I watched a youtuber (manlybadasshero) play it. This specimen is going to make the game tank for 0 reason. It's not woke. It's not cringe. The story is compelling if unique, the artstyle is fantastic.

But this guy thinks that he is the main character. You're crying over some bald goblin. Get over it.

it's been a while so i'm not bothered to dig it up but it follows the same logic, i'm not trying to make it political, i hate both sides, i'm from australia and in fact SOME PEOPLE on both sides do this same thing

he's done the same thing to lgbtq (that's what i mean about "the same logic") and i cbf digging it up, i just gave that example because it was recent and easy to find

also kinda related to that, recently he made a video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=71rPgqTvx40 that i really like but the comments (his fans) were... ugh, making it political, being transphobic (they were in the other video too xd) and bla bla bla

many ppl like that like his fans like to bring iq into stuff even though it doesn't mean anything... well, we did just bring up a video title "We’re Living In An Idiocracy.." too so yeah, my iq is about 135-140 (lower against adults, higher in my age range)

Dude, Mouthwashing is not going to tank. The game has already gone viral, it already has a huge fandom and a lot of interested people.

The controversy with Asmongold is irrelevant and you can easily see it on Twitter where 99% of the fandom keeps making fanarts and spreading the word about the game as if nothing happened.

The only ones with a protagonist complex seem to be Asmongold fans.

Mouthwashing is a good game, completely devoid of politics, as a game should be. It can be enjoyed by anyone, no matter what his or her beliefs are. To go on social media and call anyone and the people agreeing with him (a sizeable audience, if I may) any kind of ephithet and to wish they don't acquire or play your product is such a low IQ take that I hope at least some internal memo about it are getting passed on.

No matter what YOU believe, pissing off customers is a bad practice that devs should really stop doing. Only super entitled people with loads of privileges can jeopardize their and other people's livelyhood willy-nilly like that (and call themselves marginalized while they do it ofc.)

And before some smolbrained child comes at me yOu dNot EvNe oWno GaEm. Another member of my family unit has it and I played it via her account. The nature of the game and its initial success didn't motivate me to buy a copy for my personal account too but I will, in case this infight gets out of hand, to leave a review and show support (unless the devs decide to take the side o the composer and throw a portion of the community under the bus for no reason at all, that is )
